Learning platform usage guidelines

for the Bridgly learning platform

We are glad you are using Bridgly! On this page, you will find the most important information regarding the use of our learning platform at lernumgebung.bridgly.de. We have kept it intentionally brief so you can quickly understand what matters.

1. Who is the contractual partner?

The Bridgly learning platform is operated by Bridgly GmbH. Your contractual partner for platform usage is generally your employer or the organization that provided you with access. The contract between this organization and Bridgly is governed by our General Terms and Conditions (GTC).

These usage guidelines provide you, as an end user, with a brief and clear overview of what you can and cannot do on the platform.

2. Your access and login credentials

Your access to the learning platform is personal and non-transferable. Please note:

• Keep your login credentials confidential. Do not share them with colleagues or third parties.
• Log out after use, especially when using shared devices.
• If you suspect that an unauthorized person has access to your account, please notify us at support@bridgly.de or contact your platform administrator.

Account sharing or the parallel use of your access by multiple people is not permitted.

3. Content and copyright

The training content (videos, texts, graphics, tests, materials) is protected by copyright. The rights are held by Bridgly or the respective rights holders.

You may use the content exclusively for your own professional development within the scope of your employment.

Specifically, the following are not permitted:

• Copying, saving, or recording the content (e.g., via screen capture or video recording);
• Sharing the content with third parties (including colleagues who do not have their own license);
• Publishing the content (e.g., on social networks, blogs, forums);
• Using the content to train AI models or similar systems.

4. Your certificates

Once you have successfully completed a training course, you will receive a certificate or a confirmation of participation. These belong to you, and you are, of course, welcome to use them:

• For submission to your employer or a future employer;
• For inclusion in your resume or your profile on professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn, Xing).

However, certificates must not be altered, forged, or used to misrepresent actual qualifications.

5. Behavior on the platform

We want the platform to be a great experience for everyone. Therefore, please refrain from:

• Attempting to technically manipulate or attack the platform, or exploit vulnerabilities;
• Using automated tools (e.g., bots, scrapers, crawlers) to retrieve content or complete tests automatically;
• Circumventing security measures, license restrictions, or access rights;
• Uploading or distributing malware, spam, or illegal content.

If you discover a security vulnerability or a bug, please report it to us at support@bridgly.de. We appreciate any feedback.

6. Additional features (optional)

Your employer may enable optional additional features, for example:

• Comment, rating, or forum functions;
• AI-powered learning assistance or other AI features.

If such features are enabled for you, the following rules apply in addition to these terms:

• Content that you publish yourself (e.g., comments) must be factual, respectful, and lawful. Offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, or illegal posts are not permitted.
• When using AI features, please note: AI responses may be incorrect, incomplete, or outdated. Do not make important decisions based solely on AI responses.
• Do not enter highly sensitive data (e.g., health data, sensitive personal data of third parties) into AI prompts or content you publish.

7. Data protection

When you use the platform, your personal data (e.g., name, email address, learning progress) is processed. You can find out who is responsible for this under data protection law and what rights you have in our privacy policy at www.bridgly.de/datenschutz.

Note: As a rule, it is your employer, not Bridgly, who is responsible under data protection law for your learning data. Bridgly processes this data on their behalf (data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR). If you have questions about your data, please contact your employer or your organization's data protection officer.

8. What happens in the event of misuse

If these terms are significantly violated—for example, through account sharing, copying content, or security breaches—Bridgly may temporarily suspend the affected access or restrict further use. In serious cases, we reserve the right to take legal action.

We will make every effort to contact your platform administrator before suspending an account, provided it is reasonable and feasible to do so.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms of use from time to time—for example, as the platform evolves or legal requirements change. You can always find the current version on this page. Where possible, we will announce significant changes on the platform in advance.
