Artificial Intelligence
AI literacy under the EU AI Act and an in-depth course for managers, tool training on ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, and Langdock, as well as data protection, information security, and critical thinking in the age of AI.

Artificial Intelligence (EU AI Act)
AI literacy covers technical fundamentals, ethical issues, and the requirements of the EU AI Act for the use of AI. Your employees learn the required AI fundamentals, supplemented by a prompting module.

Artificial Intelligence (EU AI Act) for Advanced Users
Anyone integrating AI strategically into business processes needs more than the fundamentals from Art. 4 EU AI Act. You learn these fundamentals and deliberately go beyond them.

ChatGPT for Beginners
As the most widely used AI tool in the workplace, ChatGPT offers features such as research, Canvas, Projects, and Custom GPTs. You learn step by step how to use ChatGPT productively and safely in your day-to-day work.

Claude for Beginners
Working with Claude ranges from clear prompts to Projects, Artifacts, and integration into everyday work. You learn when Claude is particularly strong and how to make targeted use of its strengths.

Microsoft Copilot (Chat) for Beginners
Copilot Chat is the AI assistant in Microsoft 365 for research, texts, and images that works outside Word, Excel, and Outlook. You learn to operate Copilot Chat and to formulate prompts for useful answers.

Langdock
Langdock is an AI platform that brings together multiple models, company data, integrations, and workflows in a single interface. You learn how you use research, creation, agents, and skills in everyday work.

Microsoft Copilot (365) for Advanced Users
Microsoft 365 Copilot works directly in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams and accesses documents, emails, and meetings. You learn to design multi-step prompts and to build your own agents with Copilot Studio.

Claude for Advanced Users
With projects, file analysis, artifacts, and integrations, entire work processes can be mapped in Claude. You learn to analyze documents and to integrate Claude securely into the team's workflows.

ChatGPT for Advanced Users
ChatGPT offers far more than text generation, such as data analysis with code execution, image processing, and research with sources. You learn to build your own GPTs and to check results for quality and data protection.

Google Gemini for Beginners
Google Gemini can be used productively and safely in day-to-day work in Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Meet. You learn the basics of prompting and the rules for data protection-compliant use.

Google Gemini for Advanced Users
Advanced users get significantly more out of Gemini, for example analyses across many files and research with source citations. You learn to create your own Gems and to integrate Gemini securely into team workflows.

Information Security in the Age of AI: New Risks
Artificial intelligence creates new forms of attack and new risks for employees and companies. You learn to recognize AI-supported phishing, deepfakes, and prompt injection.

Critical Thinking in the Age of AI: Questioning AI
Fabricated sources and biased assessments from AI assistants are often adopted in day-to-day work because they sound plausible. You learn to evaluate AI results critically instead of trusting them blindly.

Data Protection in the AI Era: Recognizing New Risks
Using AI tools creates new data protection risks that can be recognized and avoided in everyday work. You learn which data you are allowed to enter and what the GDPR and the EU AI Act require.

Frequently Asked Questions
Here you will find the key answers about training in the field of artificial intelligence: AI literacy under Art. 4 of the EU AI Act, target group, content, and deadlines.
The EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) requires all companies and organizations that develop or use AI systems to equip their employees with sufficient AI literacy. The legal basis is Article 4 of the Regulation, which has applied directly since February 2, 2025. The obligation covers both providers and deployers of AI systems – which also includes companies that use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or AI translation tools in their day-to-day work. The aim is for all employees who work with AI systems or oversee their use to understand how these systems work, their risks, and their limitations, and to be able to use AI responsibly. The legislature does not prescribe a specific training format, but it does require AI literacy to be built up in a verifiable way.
In principle, all employees who work with AI systems in a professional context or oversee their use must complete AI training. This includes not only developers or IT specialists but also employees in marketing, HR, sales, or administration who use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, DeepL, or industry-specific AI applications. Managers who make or are responsible for AI-supported decisions are also subject to the training obligation. The depth of the training should depend on the role and the risk of the AI in use: employees who use AI occasionally need awareness training, whereas people who work with high-risk AI must receive in-depth training on how it works, its risks, and the legal framework.
The AI literacy obligation under Article 4 of the EU AI Act has applied directly in all EU member states since February 2, 2025. It was part of the first phase of application of the AI Act, which is taking effect in stages.
In Art. 3 no. 56, the EU AI Act defines the term "AI literacy" as the skills, knowledge, and understanding that enable providers, deployers, and affected persons to use AI systems competently and to be aware of the opportunities and risks. Recital 20 specifies that AI literacy must be adapted to the role and application context of the employees. Good AI training therefore covers four core areas of competence: technical fundamentals (how AI systems work, their limits and risks, such as hallucinations and bias), ethical fundamentals (fairness, transparency, human oversight), regulatory fundamentals (obligations under the EU AI Act, risk classes, transparency obligations), and application-related competence (safe prompting, handling personal data, internal company AI policies). High-quality training also covers the interfaces with data protection under the GDPR, copyright law, and the protection of trade secrets, since in practice AI is rarely used in isolation from these areas of law.
In the standard version, an online AI training course for employees at Bridgly takes around 30 minutes and covers all the AI fundamentals that Article 4 of the EU AI Act implies for basic AI literacy. If you are looking for a more compact introduction, you can choose the shortened AI training (refresher); if you want to go deeper, you can take the comprehensive AI professional development course of approx. 2.5 hours. We recommend the 30-minute standard course because it offers the best balance of solid legal competence, sound understanding, and low organizational effort. All courses have a multimodal structure with short video sequences, interactive learning elements, and an integrated knowledge test with an automatically generated proof of participation. The content is designed by distinguished subject matter experts, is available in more than 30 languages, and can be individually adapted with company-specific AI policies and use cases if required.
