Challenge

The MuSchG requires every employer to carry out a general risk assessment even before a pregnancy becomes known, regardless of any specific case, and to implement protective measures without delay after being notified. Violations of employment bans, working time limits, or reporting obligations are subject to fines and can be criminal offenses. Managers in particular must know what needs to be done from the day of notification.
