Infection Control: Follow-Up Instruction under Section 43 IfSG

Challenge

Anyone who produces, handles, or places food on the market needs an initial instruction from the public health office before starting work and thereafter a follow-up instruction from the employer every two years in accordance with Section 43 IfSG. Salmonella, noroviruses, hepatitis A, and other pathogens can enter food via employees and trigger entire outbreaks. The instruction must be documented and presented during inspections.
